Privacy Policy
What stays on your PC, what is processed online, and why.
Summary
Controller input, profiles, calibration, and gameplay settings stay on your PC. Keypable has no advertising and no third-party behavioural analytics or telemetry SDK. It does not automatically upload gameplay, controller input, personal files, profiles, or logs.
Online services are used for purchases, accounts, licence activation and revocation, update checks/downloads, driver downloads, transactional email, support, fraud prevention, and accounting.
Information stored locally
Keypable may store settings, controller/game profiles, calibration, diagnostic logs, a signed licence file, and WebView2 cache on your PC. You can remove these files or uninstall the app. Logs and profiles are not automatically uploaded.
To operate, Keypable may read controller and sim-gear input over USB/Bluetooth, create virtual controllers, use a device-filter driver, inspect the foreground executable to apply profiles, and process optional audio locally.
Website purchases and accounts
Depending on the action you take, our website and licence service may store:
- Email, name, mobile number, country, and a salted PBKDF2 password hash—not your plaintext password.
- Purchase status, amount, currency, discount, payment-provider identifiers, timestamps, request country, and card-country evidence.
- Licence edition, encrypted recoverable website licence key, status, gift/redemption records, and linked purchase.
- Rate-limit and security records associated with an IP address or account/licence action.
Readable website licence keys are retained so you or support can display/resend the purchased key. Digital Intelligence does not receive full payment-card details.
Activation and status checks
Website-edition activation sends the licence key, one-way hashes derived from available machine identifiers, and optional device label, Windows version, and CPU description. Recoverable licence keys are encrypted at rest with a secret kept separately from the database. We store hardware hashes—not raw machine identifiers—plus readable device details and activation/transfer timestamps.
The signed licence works offline. At standalone startup, Keypable makes a best-effort status request containing the licence-key hash. Network failure does not lock an offline user; an explicit revoked, deleted, or outdated response requires reactivation on the next launch.
Updates and drivers
The standalone app checks our update service at startup. Requests can expose normal connection data such as IP address and user agent, but not controller input or the raw licence key. Updates require your approval and signed-manifest/hash verification before launch.
If required drivers are not bundled, Keypable may download them from the publisher's GitHub releases. Windows Authenticode trust and the expected publisher are verified before elevation.
Service providers
- Cloudflare: hosting, security, database/object storage, bot protection, and coarse request-country information.
- Moyasar and Qoyod: payment processing and accounting/invoice records.
- Zoho ZeptoMail: account, reset, transfer, and purchase email delivery.
- GitHub and driver publishers: optional driver downloads.
We do not sell personal data or share it with advertisers. Information may be disclosed when legally required, to protect users or the service, or in a lawful business transfer.
Retention and security
Purchase and accounting records are kept for business, tax, dispute, and legal obligations. Account, licence, activation, fraud-prevention, and support records are kept while needed to provide and secure the product, then deleted or anonymized when no longer required. Data travels over HTTPS; passwords and machine identifiers are hashed; licence files and update metadata use digital signatures. Hardware hashes remain pseudonymous identifiers when linked to an account or purchase.
Your choices and rights
You can delete local data, disable optional features, or uninstall Keypable. You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal data, subject to identity verification and records we must retain by law. Contact support@digi.sa.
Children and changes
Keypable is a general PC utility and is not directed at children under 13. We will update this policy and its effective date when material data practices change.
